Dr Sameer Gaggar is a renowned and senior consultant gastroenterologist, hepatologist and endoscopist, working in the gastroenterology super specialty since 2004.
Dr Sameer Gaggar passed his MBBS from world famous Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. He did his MD in General (Internal) Medicine from the prestigious Topiwala National Medical College and Nair hospital, Mumbai
After passing out, Dr Gaggar went to England, United Kingdom for further training. He passed his MRCP (Member of Royal College of Physicians) exams with flying colours and started further training in the field of Gastroenterology.
During his training, Dr Gaggar worked and trained in various sub specialties including transplant hepatology (at the acclaimed Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, England), inflammatory bowel disease, nutrition and small bowel diseases and trained in endoscopy, colonoscopy, enteroscopy and manometry.
On completion of his training, he acquired the prestigious Certificate of Completion of training (CCT) in gastroenterology and MRCP gastroenterology.
He then worked as a consultant in England, and returned to Mumbai to serve his country since 2014. Dr Gaggar, thus has the best experience and training from both abroad and in India. He is hardworking, thorough in his work and very polite and approachable.
Currently, he is working as a senior consultant in gastrointestinal medicine at Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital based in South Mumbai. He is one of the best gastrologists and liver specialist in Mumbai.
